Archer & Greiner, P.C. seeks a full-time Business Development and Marketing Coordinator to join the Business Development & Marketing Department to support a wide range of efforts relating to growth initiatives across the firm. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and busy team. The position works collaboratively with the marketing team, practice groups, and other departments. This role is responsible for proposing creative ideas and executing on strategies that contribute to the firm’s marketing and business development goals. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with 60 minutes for Lunch.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in preparing responses to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs
  • Drafts proposal content such as introductions, executive summaries, cover letters, and standardized responses
  • Leads the proposal production effort such as formatting, editing, printing, copying, tabs, covers, binders and electronic media, and mailings
  • Supports business development activities and initiatives by assisting in the preparation and delivery of information on prospective and existing clients to attorneys
  • Collaborates with marketing team to ensure that practice descriptions, attorney biographies and other marketing materials effectively communicate the firm’s capabilities and are kept up to date
  • Helps to maintain relevant client/mailing/invitation lists within the firm’s system and works with BD/Marketing leaders to ensure that the data is clean, current, and in compliance
  • Assists with the management and coordination of sports and event tickets for client entertainment purposes
  • Coordinates with lawyers and other BD/marketing team members to produce and distribute client communications, including announcements, invitations and other marketing content
  • Organizes, executes and supports – sponsored programs, conferences, webinars, and receptions for clients and prospective clients
  • Assists with the management and submission of all business development and marketing-related check requests, reimbursements and vendor payments for processing by the firm’s finance department
  • Collaborates with firm vendors to design, select, procure, produce and manage inventory of collateral materials such as promotional items and print materials that support marketing and business development efforts
  • Educates and assists attorneys and professional staff with their professional networking activities, including tutoring on the use of social media platforms
  • Executes ad hoc requests to support special projects, practices and initiatives as needed

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2-3 years marketing, communications, or business development experience, preferably in a professional services or law firm setting
  • High level of professionalism and client service
  • Able to manage multiple projects/events with competing deadlines and priorities
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (including proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Demonstrated experience in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Demonstrated writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Ability to remain organized and on-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work overtime, and time outside of position hours (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM) as needed for events, proposal support, and other deadline-driven projects
